Terms of Use
BRAINLast updated: July 2026
1. Scope
These terms of use govern the use of the BRAIN website and member platform operated by BRAIN — Berlin Robotics And Innovation Network. By registering an account or using the platform you accept these terms.
2. Services
BRAIN provides a free community platform: robotics news, a company map, events, a member directory, and a newsletter. There is no entitlement to particular features or to uninterrupted availability. We may change, extend, or discontinue features at any time.
3. Registration and account
Registration requires accurate information and a valid email address. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be transferred. Registration via Google sign-in is possible; these terms apply equally in that case.
4. User obligations
You agree not to post unlawful, offensive, or misleading content, not to infringe third-party rights, not to send spam, and not to disrupt or circumvent the technical operation of the platform.
5. Content and rights
You retain all rights to the content you post (for example profile and company entries). By posting, you grant us the non-exclusive, revocable right to display this content on the platform. You are responsible for the content you publish.
6. Newsletter
Subscribing to the newsletter is optional. Consent can be withdrawn at any time, for example via the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter.
7. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. In cases of slight negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of platform. The platform is provided free of charge.
8. Term and termination
You may delete your account at any time in the member settings. We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, normally after prior notice, or immediately in severe cases.
9. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Should individual provisions of these terms be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected. We may amend these terms with effect for the future; registered members will be informed of material changes in good time.
