Kreuzberg gripper startup raises €12M Series A

Round led by a Munich deep-tech fund; hiring 20 engineers.

The Kreuzberg-based gripper company closed a €12M Series A led by a Munich deep-tech fund, with participation from two existing angels out of the Berlin robotics scene.

The plan

According to the founders, the money goes to three places:

  1. Scaling production of the current adaptive gripper line
  2. A new soft-robotics R&D team (20 engineering hires planned this year)
  3. Certification for food-handling applications in the EU

The company says its grippers are already deployed at pilot customers in logistics and food packaging across Germany and the Netherlands.

Berlin angle

This is the third robotics Series A in Berlin this year, and the founders are regulars at the BRAIN Stammtisch. Open roles are expected on the job board within the next weeks.
