1 min

Maintained by three Berlin teams; Apache-2.0.

After two years in the making, the community-maintained ROS 2 stack for autonomous mobile robots reached v1.0. The project is jointly maintained by three Berlin teams and licensed under Apache-2.0.

What's in the box

  • Full navigation pipeline tuned for narrow-aisle warehouses
  • Fleet coordination layer with a plain HTTP API
  • Simulation worlds mirroring three real Berlin warehouse layouts
  • CI-tested support for the two most common European AMR base platforms

Install it with:

sudo apt install ros-jazzy-amr-stack

Roadmap

The maintainers list multi-floor support and a native Zenoh transport as the next milestones. Contributions are welcome — the good first issue label currently has 14 open tickets.
